We use optional Google Analytics to understand visits to our public website and improve its content. Analytics stays off until you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Reject analytics, or continuing without making a choice, leaves it off. Both choices allow you to use the website and contact us.
Our fonts, images, video and accessibility toolbar are served through this website. We do not include advertising trackers or a chat widget. The contact form holds what you type in the current page; it does not save those entries in browser storage or send them to Google Analytics.
Analytics and your choice
After you accept, Google Analytics receives information about public pages visited, visit timing and engagement, browser and device information, and the referring website. Analytics uses a browser identifier to recognise visits. Google processes network information when your browser connects to its service. We disable Google signals and advertising personalisation for this website.
We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send, limit referrer information, and do not send contact-form names, email addresses or messages. We do not enable automatic form, outbound-link, site-search, video or download measurement.
The Google Analytics cookies are _ga and _ga_25JJ5EPNZ6. We configure newly created analytics cookies to last up to 90 days without automatically extending that period on each visit. Cookies left by the previous website may have different expiry dates; rejecting analytics removes the matching cookies available to this website.
Your accepted or rejected choice is saved in local storage under together-analytics-choice for 90 days. This record remembers only your choice, its expiry and the notice version used by the mechanism; it is not sent to Google. Expired choices are treated as no choice, and we ask again. If browser storage is unavailable, analytics stays off.
Choose Cookie settings in the footer of any page to change your choice. Rejecting after previously accepting stops further analytics and removes these analytics cookies. The page may reload to stop the loaded analytics code. Withdrawal does not undo processing that took place before you changed your choice. Clearing browser storage or using another browser means you will be asked again.
Accessibility preferences
When you change an accessibility setting, the toolbar saves your display choices in this browser’s local storage under phauk-a11y-prefs. This lets it remember your preferred text size, font, spacing and visual aids when you return. The settings are not sent to our server.
These preferences have no automatic expiry. Choose Reset all in the toolbar, or clear this site’s browser data, to remove them. The reading guide is temporary and is not saved. No default preference record is written just by visiting the page.
External services
Translate this page opens Google Translate in a new tab only when you follow the link. It passes the current page address without its query string or fragment. Google then handles your visit under its own terms and privacy information.
Social and other external links also take you to separate services. Opening this website or its accessibility panel does not itself load those services.
Security and separate services
Our hosting provider protects the website against abuse. Restricted review deployments also use Vercel sign-in and review tools; those are separate from the public website. The invitation Form and event app have their own session and storage arrangements.
We will update this notice if our use of cookies or device storage changes.
